WHY DO I NEED TO MAINTAIN MY SYSTEMS?

Like any other part of your infrastructure, drywells, catch basins and other drainage systems need periodic maintenance to function at optimum levels. Over time, silt, sediment and debris build up in the system and reduce the drainage efficiency. This may lead to water standing beyond the municipal requirement which can result in citations. It also inconveniences customers at retail locations and residents in communities. With Arizona leading the nation in the number of West Nile cases and other diseases carried by mosquitoes, standing water is a particular concern. A lack of maintenance can eventually lead to costly repair of the system as well as the area around it.

THE CLEANING PROCESS

The process starts with a thorough inspection of the drywells, catch basins and other stormwater structures. If the systems need to be serviced, it is imperative they are cleaned by a company familiar with the interworking of these structures. Stormwater structures must be compliant with the strict regulations of regional infiltration requirements.

DRYWELL RESTORATION

If your property has a non-functioning drywell, Torrent Resources has a solution. By adding a new drywell to your existing system, we effectively convert the existing drywell into a new state-of-the-art MaxWell   Plus system.

The existing structure remains to receive water and trap additional debris while directing the treated flow to the new drywell. This retrofit makes the entire system far superior to the original design while maintaining the grading of the original site design.
